European Championships in Monterotondo / Rome 2009
The amateur Kickboxing European Championships in Italy is now history. Exactly 430 competitors from 19
countries participate in the event. We had more than 600 starts in the Ring and on the mats. Our new member
Portugal with President Cesar MOREIRA had a very successfully team.
Many thanks to all national presidents, officials and fighters who attend the championships. Although the
organisation of that event did not satisfy the participating teams for many reasons was the level of most of the
fights very high and from the view of sport and fighter well done.
ISKA EUROPE council will decide in the next days about the leader ship for ISKA ITALY in future. Many
photos are on-line on our official web site www.iska-europe.com. The list of results will be ready soon to
download as PDF file too.

ISKA GENERAL ASSEMBLY
During the meeting many countries like Mr. Bayram KORKMAZ / Denmark, Mr. Thierry MUCCINI / France
or Mr. Pete RICHARDSON / England and others had good suggestions about upcoming European or World
Champions ships, to avoid same situation like in Rome again.
Mr. EXENBERGER / Austria agreed to the members about founding committees, like organizing committee
and technical committee. From now on all national teams must register for EC/WC directly by ISKA EUROPE
headquarter. All starting fees as well as the annual fee for the country must be transferred BEFORE the
European or World Champion ships starts to the official ISKA EUROPE account. From that amount all referees
and fees get paid first, the balance belongs to the promoter.
The Headreferee of the European / World Championship, the European president and one voluntary member
will arrive two days before on the venue to make sure, that everything is done , prepared and well organized.
Furthermore, the weigh-in and registration on the day before the event starts and the drawing of the fighters
will be supervised by three members of the technical committee, to avoid any misunderstandings in future. All
ISKA Sportpass will be here checked for the medical confirmation and the annual fee stamp. If the Sportpass is
missing or incorrect the participant must buy a new one. All days during the event on the main referee table at
least one technical committee member is in duty to supervise, help and to correct lists if necessary.
As Headreferee for Almeria Mr. Abdulrahmann ELRAYESS / Lebanon is elected, for the following European
Champion ships 2011 in Vienna Mr. Josef TEMML / Austria.

REFEREES for European and world champion ships
Just to remember every country president and to be sure for the future: according our rulebook every country
must bring referees according the following system:
For every 25 competitors of a country, one Referee must be present.
1-25 competitors 1 Referee
26-50 competitors 2 Referees
51-75 competitors 3 Referees
76-100 competitors 4 Referees
101-125 competitors 5 Referees
126 and more competitors 6 Referees
Any country that does not fulfill the requirements shall be fined 150 Euro for each missing Referee. This goes
into the general account of the attended, hard working referees. It is ridiculous that countries without referees
are always complaining about judging. This rules means, every country must bring at least one well dressed
working referee.
Please remember: NO country president can be a Coach or cornerman
ELECTION FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS
During the European congress we had the election according our bylaws. With 8 to 2 votes general assembly
elected for four more Years on the top:

ISKA REFEREE SEMINAR
Register your international top referees for the seminar in Munich / Germany 2010 on time. The full invitation
for that seminar will come soon in the next mail. The next international referee seminar 2011 will be in Lviv /
UKR.
please note:
All national license F, E, and D will be given by the local head referee of the country after the annual referee
seminar. This licenses are valid for 12 month and has to be renewed once a Year.
The international licenses C and B will be given directly from the IRC Head referee after the international
referee seminar. This license has to be confirmed from the IRC committee and is valid for two Years.
The A license and finally the A1 Supervisor license will be given only by majority decision from the IRC
committee. These licenses are valid for two Years. All international A class referees and Supervisors are
responsible by themselves to extend their own licenses at least every second Year
World Championships in Almeria, Spain 2010
The amateur Kickboxing World Championships in Spain is now next huge event and ISKA EUROPE team in
co-operation with promoter Juan PINILLA are working seriously very hard to present a Champion ships.
We are in contact with ISKA AUSTRALIA president Mr: Paul ZADRO to bring a team. Also many new
African teams like Egypt, Ghana, Tunisia, Algeria, Angola, Uganda, South Africa try to bring teams to Almeria.
Also Jordan, Lebanon and I.R. Iran confirmed their participation. Our World president Mr. Cory SCHAFER
organise the US Americans.
Thanks to our World wide contacts in the ISKA network we want to bring Philippines, Nepal, Papua N.G. and
some countries from South America, like Argentina. In other words, this will be really World champion ships
and the European countries will have to fight a lot to became Champions.
Our goal is 50 plus countries and the promoter expect 1.500 fighters from all over the World. All information’s

link, please.

To avoid misunderstandings use only official title fight application form for any title request.

for the ranking, please. Write always first names in small, family name in BIG letters, to avoid

ISKA WORLD
ISKA in the world is moving forward and active on all five continents.
Before we had just ISKA SOUTH AFRICA with Mr. Paul CAVE. In May 2009 we started with ISKA AFRICA
federation. Until today ISKA had already three continental African titles, one female intercontinental title and 2
World title fights. Almost every month a new African Country join ISKA. In Luanda / Angola, Accra / Ghana,
Cairo and Hurghada / Egypt we had already international events. Next event will be in Algiers / Algeria , Accra
and Kampala / Uganda. Many new African real pro fighters are already in the African ranking, and they are
ready to fight your Champions here in Europe. The air ticket price is not so expensive, the purse negotiable. Of
course ISKA EUROPE is ready to help in any request, also for Visa problems. This is your fair chance to get a
title fight in Africa !!!
